Carmen Joyce Arnoldi  (January 19, 1933 – August 25, 2015)

ROCK SPRINGS – Carmen Arnoldi, 82, of Rock Springs, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at her home. A lifelong resident of Rock Springs, Mrs. Arnoldi passed away following a brief illness.

Mrs. Arnoldi attended schools in Green River and graduated from Green River High School with the Class of 1950.  She also attended Holy Cross Nursing School in Salt Lake City, Utah and received a degree as a Registered Nurse.

She married William Joseph Arnoldi on June 6, 1954 in Superior, Wyoming and he preceded her in death on March 7, 2011.

Mrs. Arnoldi worked as a registered nurse for Wyoming General Hospital in Rock Springs for many years until her retirement.  She was also elected to the Who’s Who of America.  She was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Community.

Her interests included cooking, cleaning, camping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include four sons Thayne Arnoldi, Mark Arnoldi, Leonard Arnoldi and Shawn Arnoldi, all of Rock Springs,; two daughters Joella Tamasauckas of Randle, Washington and Kim Rogers of Rock Springs; eleven grandchildren:  Karlee and Kyle Bogataj, Tyra Zueck, Lindsay Rogers, Alexis, Randi, Alison, Nicholas and Andrew Arnoldi, Avalon and Brady Arnoldi, six great-grandhildren, Jaylee Shalata, Genessa Timmons, Braxton Grenier, Blayson Bogataj, Joseph Bingman and Kybrie Bogataj and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one twin-sister Carol Miller and one brother Gordon Hill.

Following cremation a Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, August 31, 2015 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 116 Broadway, Rock Springs, Wyoming.  A Vigil Service with Rosary will be conducted at 5 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Vase Funeral Chapel, 154 Elk Street in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Father Jesryll Intes will officiate.

Inurnment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, north of Rock Springs.  Friends may callon Sunday at the chapel one hour prior to services  and again on Monday at the church one hour prior to services.
