GREEN RIVER– According to the GRPD daily press release on May 27th at 12:13 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a two-vehicle collision.

It was reported a vehicle was traveling north  on Uinta Drive, moved into the turn lane and attempted to turn left (west) onto Roosevelt Drive and struck a motorcycle traveling south on Uinta Drive. Castle Rock Ambulance Service and The Green River Fire Department arrived to assist with the scene.

The driver of the motorcycle, an adult female Green River resident was transported to Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County by ambulance for treatment of injuries and subsequently transferred to Utah for further treatment.

Chris Leventis, age 83 of Green River, was issued a citation for turning left at an intersection.
